Cox Tor
In this series, I had the chance to document my father’s revisit to where he trained with both the Royal Navy and Dartmoor Mountain Rescue.
Following Dad throughout the environment, I photographed the landscape in which he trained, as well as his engagement with the Tor’s summit. With Dad suffering from PTSD, I wanted to do a shoot that took him back to one of his old training grounds. Though he spent more time training with Mountain Rescue up at Cox Tor, Dad told me of his Navy survival training, where he had to camp and survive within the terrains of Foggintor Quarry and Cox Tor
